After a full day of Grannie stuff we decided to go out to eat. Dave and Carol suggested Calhoun‘s. They had recommended Lamberts in Branson and since that was so good we all happily agreed. After a goody wait while some lost grannies appeared we decided they were not going to make it. Maybe they were lost or had changed plans. So we went in and were seated at 3 tables. Here we are reading menus and discussing what‘s good. Dave and Carol were the resident experts.

Barb, Kizzie, Ross and Caro were at my table. I was moving from table to table to get good pictures without using the hated flash. People always look so startled and their behavior changes.

Caro asked Ross a question about Retalin hoping to get an answer in opposition to my frequently strongly stated opinion to the abuse. Thanks Ross and Kizzie.

Pam and her family were deciding what to have in a typical family manner. There was almost no audible conversation but each person clearly knew what was being communicated. Caro says Pam must have had her kids when she was 8 or 9 since she looks so young. I tell Caro it is the water therapy/regimen that Pam uses.

This picture shows the sign for CALHOUN‘S and Barb. She talked about her jobs in a nuclear power plant. I found that fascinating. She sure had a lot of varied experience. Barb needs to be put in use as a spokesman for the Nuclear power industry so that we can ramp that energy source back up. Even I can see the end of crude oil in the forseeable future.

Carol noticed me taking the pictures and said Hi! Her and Dave are really special in my heart. I know I will certainly eat at any place they recommend. I feel like Dave is a brother. I know he tells some of the most wonderful stories about his mother-in-law. I am still laughing at one.

After taking the pictures I looped the "digi" over the back of the chair and leaned back against the BOOK.

Di, Amelia, Sallie, Carol, Dave, Barb, Kizzie, Ross, Caro, Pam, and Pam’s family.
After eating a fine Creole catfish and drinking several double “bad pops” I left to get the car while Caro was struggling out of the restaurant. Apparently, in my haste, I forgot the "digi". When I noticed the absence and drove back to Calhouns. They were closed and I just knew that I had lost my camera forever. I lose things very hard. I barely slept that night and went to Calhouns very early and talked to the manager. We walked around to various possible lost and found cubby holes with no luck. I just wanted to cry and began to plan a trip to a camera store to get a replacement. I forget what we did that day but I went back to Calhouns after they opened and the manager had my digi. He said the waiter had come by on his way to school and left the camera with instructions about the owner. Thank you honest guy.

As a side note I am writing this several weeks later and have taken almost a thousand more pictures with that camera.
