I had never seen a live King crab. All I had seen was legs on a platter. If they tasted like they look “Red Lobster“ wouldn‘t be able to give them away. There was one trapped on its back in their tank. One of the aquarium workers said “I‘ll give it an hour to right itself and if it don‘t I will go in and put him right“.

Finally I see the creature that furnishs the “cuttlebone“ for every bird cage I have ever seen. Looks like a mutated octopus. It never moved but an aquarium worker said it was still alive.

Carolyn was apparently fascinated by the “dragons“. She took a bunch of pictures and experimented with settings so I only included 5 here. The large one below gives an interesting view. The four smaller ones are clickable if you want to see a larger view. The things are or look like sea horses and need good disquise because they are slow with no poison, claws or fangs.

The Rock Fish blended in so well and the picture was so blurry that I had to blue out the background to show the fish. This fish is extremely poisonous and can cause death in minutes. The Anemone looks so pretty it is hard to believe they can sting and are poison. There was a small fish grooming the anemone. Apparently the fish is immune to the poison.

When we got to the Snack bar we discovered that there was going to be a show in the aquarium shortly. We set at tables and ate “food” and waited for the show to begin. Caro noticed that Sting Rays were beginning to swim in from various parts of the aquarium. Then we saw a diver in his black wet suit come into view carrying a container. The rays practically covered him. We saw him take something out of his pack and feed it to a ray. He would then push the ray away and another one took its place. They seemed to know about taking turns.. When he ran out of food the rays would come up and get a pet or rub. Sure seemed like they enjoyed the contact.
