All week has been drizzly and damp but the weather didn‘t seem to bother the good spirits of the group. We didn‘t do the hay rides or the picnic and I think that helped us by letting us spend more time together instead of being busy doing stuff. All week I had admired a huge building on the slope facing us. I kept saying I wanted it for my home when I retire. ![]() One of the granny expeditions had visited the place and told me that it was a hotel which explains its large size. I still would like to have it for a second home. Finally the time had come for most of the grannies to head homeward. In Branson the leaving didn‘t seem to affect me much but this year I almost couldn‘t stand it. As each car left I felt my heart tear. At my age I know the next 2 years until the next gathering is likely to see some of us depart this life. ![]() I hated watching Pam leave but I will always remember diner with her and her daughter and granddaughter in Calhouns. Also her breathing exercises in Branson. ![]() Glo, watching her and Dennis and Dennie leave was almost too much. ![]() She has been my constant mentor with the webbie and computer. While watching the packing and leaving I noticed the sky was clearing after a week of drizzle. Of course Caro took this picture to feature my “Blue Bell“ belly ![]() Beautiful rainbow. Look close and you will see a double rainbow. ![]()
