After the pizza a group of us were casting about outside for a place to set and talk. It was drizzly so the pool area was out. Somebody suggested the area in front of a fishing shop and a craft shop called “The Spinnery“. There were white wicker chairs and deck chairs. Best of all was that the area was covered and overlooked the street. The seating arrangement lent itself to formation of small conversation groups. Of course everybody kept interacting with other people in other groups. Pam was detting under the business sign.

These pictures show there was a lot of joking and laughing. Here Di is laughing at someone‘s joke. I think Sammy had told another one of her famous groaners.

Glo and the others were also enjoying the comaradie despite the drizzly weather. Somebody kept calling out to people walking on the sidewalk in front of the Spinnery/Rainbow drive way. Everybody who walked by seemed very friendly and willing to engage in light banter.

Actually I think it was Amalia who engaged the passers-by in talk. That is only when she was not busy filming the group interactions.

Mary Lynn was also busy recording the “Granny Forum“ discussion for possible inclusion in the national archives when one of the women becomes President of the United States.

Mary Lynn and Amalia were caught filming the other filming. Calls to mind a series of repeating shrinking images stretching to infinity.

Eventually, as is normal, the talk turned to more serious subjects. This conversation will be treated on the next page.
