BEER MARINATED FLANK STEAK 1 large onion, chopped 1/2 to 1 tspn ground cumin 3 cloves garlic, crushed 1/8 tspn salt 1/8 tspn pepper 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 1 (12oz) can of beer 1 1/2 lbs flank steak Combine all ingredients except steak in a large shallow dish, mixing well. Add steak, cover, and refrigerate 12 hours, turning occasionally. Remove steak from marinade, grill about 15 minutes each side or until desired doneness. To serve, thinly slice diagonally across grain. Serves 4 to 6. |
