Artichoke Fritter

2 TBSP butter
2 (6 oz.) jars marinated artichoke hearts
1/2 med onion or green onions
1 clove garlic
4 eggs
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 tspn salt
1/8 tspn oregano
1/8 tspn Tabasco sauce
1/2 lb Cheddar cheese, grated

Saute artichoke, onions and garlic in butter. Combine eggs, bread crumbs, oregano, salt, Tabasco sauce and Cheddar cheese. Mix in sauteed artichokes and onions. Grease well in a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes. Cut up into 1-inch squares. Serve warm.
