Cantaloupe-Peach Pie


Ingredients:
Pastry for 9-inch 2 crust pie
2 cups thinly sliced cantaloupe
2 cups peeled, sliced, fresh peaches
1 cup sugar
quarter cup flour
half teaspoon salt
quarter cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon butter

Preparation:
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Combine cantaloupe with peaches and toss with sugar, flour, and salt. Position bottom crust in pie pan; arrange fruit mixture on crust. Sprinkle with almonds and dot with butter. Cover with top crust, make vent holes and bake 35 to 40 minutes. Makes one 9-inch pie.
