FRIED APPLES 1/3 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 t. cinnamon 2 T. cornstarch 1 cup water 4 cooking apples, peeled and sliced Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch; mix well and stir in water. Add apples. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
