Texas Skillet 1 pound hamburger 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1 - 16 oz can tomatoes, juice & all 1 - 15 oz. can kidney beans 3/4 cup uncooked minute rice 3/4 cup water 3/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese 3 oz. crushed corn chips Brown beef in a skillet, drain. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Cover & simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Top with cheese, cover until cheese melts. Sprinkle with corn chips and serve from the skillet. |
