SOCK IT TO ME CAKE

18 1/4 -OZ PKG BUTTER CAKE OR YELLOW CAKE MIX
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
1/2 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
1/2 CUP WHITE SUGAR
1/2 CUP WATER
4 EGGS

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375º. GREASE AND FLOUR A 10" BUNDT OR OTHER TUBE PAN. IN A LARGE BOWL OF AN ELECTRIC MIXER BLEND THE CAKE MIX, SOUR CREAM, OIL, WHITE SUGAR, WATER AND EGGS ON HIGH SPEED FOR 2 MINUTES. POUR TWO THIRDS OF THE BATTER INTO THE PREPARED PAN.

FILLING
1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
2 TBS BROWN SUGAR
2 tsp BROWN SUGAR

COMBINE PECANS, BROWN SUGAR AND CINNAMON FOR FILLING AND SPRINKLE OVER BATTER IN PAN. SPREAD REMAINING BATTER OVER THE PECAN FILLING. BAKE AT 375º FOR 45 TO 55 MINUTES OR UNTIL CAKE SPRINGS BACK WHEN TOUCHED. REMOVE THE PAN TO A COOLING RACK AND LET STAND RIGHT SIDE UP FOR 25 MINUTE. TURN THE CAKE OUT ON TO A SERVING PLATE.

GLAZE
1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
2 TBS MILK
MIX POWDERED SUGAR AND MILK IN A SMALL BOWL UNTIL SMOOTH; DRIZZLE OVER THE CAKE TO GLAZE.
