Fruit Filled Coffee Cake

1 package white cake mix
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1/4 cup water
1 - 21 oz. can cherry pie-filling
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoon milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat first 5 ingredients with an electric mixer until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan, top with spoonfuls of pie filling. Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean then sprinkle with almonds.

Cool 10 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar and milk together, drizzle over cake. Cool cake completely.

NOTE: If glaze is too thick, add milk by teaspoonfuls until thin enough to drizzle.

NOTE: Change the flavor of the coffee cake by changing the pie filling such as apple, blueberry or strawberry -- to name a few.
