GOOD FLUFFY BISCUITS 2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon baking powder 2-1/2 tablespoons Crisco 2-1/2 tablespoons margarine 1 cup buttermilk Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. Combine Crisco and margarine and cut into dry ingredients Add buttermilk and mix until doughball forms Remove to pastry board or counter top Roll to about 3/8" thickness and cut out biscuits Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 450 degrees. |
