After the ceremony and to prolong the misery every wedding gathers the guests in a crowded area while photographers take dozens of pictures that are usually put in an album and only rarely seen in later years. ![]() They do make a good looking couple. This is “My Girl” that Shaun took away. Like all Dad’s I was glad to see her grow-up but wasn’t ready for it to be so quick. The ritual over the years has sure developed an ability to make the bride look beautiful and so innocent. ![]() Little did I know when Misty said “Dad there is a boy at school that has asked me for a date” that Shaun and I would become in-laws. Shaun is a good earnest man who seems devoted to Misty. I wish him well but have told him several times that the attempt to understand a woman is ultimately doomed. ![]() He doesn‘t look nervous in the picture but his hands were shaking every time I saw him this day. ![]() Tim, Misty, Shaun, and Diane. ![]() Me, Misty, Shaun, and Carolyn. Granddaughters, Kellie and Brooke, were flower girls. I can tell that they are going to be in that role many, many times in future. They clean up well from the rambunctious little girls they normally are. ![]() Oldest Grandson, Jared, was ring bearer and I am sure that he will be pulling this duty many times in future. ![]() He really seems to relish the attention he gets when walking down the aisle. This is an edge enhanced treatment of the photograph of our side of the wedding party. I cannot find the equivalent picture of Shaun’s side. ![]() Click for a bigger picture with names.
