Pecan Pie Cake

1 box yellow cake min
1 egg
1/2 cup cooking oil
1cup sugar
1 cup Karo syrup
1 stick melted margarine
4 eggs
1 tspn vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans

Mix cake mix, 1 egg and cooking oil. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F and set aside.

Mix 1 cup sugar, syrup, margarine, 4 eggs, vanilla and nuts.
Mix well and pour over baked crust.

Bake 45 minutes at 350°F.
