SOUTHWESTERN BEAN BAKE 1 can kidney beans, drained 1 can great northern beans,drained 1 can stewed tomatoes, undrained 1/2 cup salsa 3/4 cup catsup 1 1/2 cups bisquick 1/2 cup cornmeal 2/3 cup milk 1 tables butter, softened 4 med green onions,sliced 1. Heat oven to 425. heat beans, tomatoes, salsa and catsup to boiling in 2 qt saucepan, stirring occasionally; remove from heat. Pour into ungreased 2 qt casserole. 2. Stir remaining ingredients until soft dough forms; beat 20 strokes. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto bean mixture; spread to edge of casserole. 3. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 min or until golden brown. |
