Bar-B-Q Beef Sandwiches

1 medium onion, chopped
3 1/2 pound roast
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Coke Cola
1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 Tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1 8 pack hoagie or hamburger buns

Place chopped onion in the bottom of a greased 3 1/2 qt or larger crockpot. In a bowl mix the ketchup, cola, mustard and worcestershire sauce. Place the roast on top of the onions then pour the ketchup mixture over the roast. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. Remove beef to a plate, cover loosely with foil. Increase crockpot heat to high and stir in cornstarch and water into the beef liquid in crockpot. Cover & cook 20 minutes longer. Thinly slice the beef, layer on hoagie or hamburger buns and serve beef juice on the side.
