Apple Dumplings
This is a recipe Joan Ralph gave me a few weeks ago. I have made them 3 times and will be making them again today. Unbelievably yumy!!

Ingredients:
2 pkg. Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
4 granny Smith apples , peeled and quartered.
1 cup sugar
1 1/2tsp cinnamon (I use more)
2 sticks of real butter
1 12oz. can Mountain Dew

Undo crescent rolls and wrap 1/4 apple in each one, you will have 16.
Place in a 9x13 pan with seam side down, melt butter, sugar, and cinnamon, and drizzle over the dumplings and then pour the 12 oz. can of Mountain Dew over that.
Bake in a 350°oven 40 to 45 minutes.You will have a nice sauce in the pan to serve over the dumplings.
