Four Dip Recipes

BLUE CHEESE DIP
1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 pkg (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk (or Half and Half)
2 tablespoons salad dressing

Combine ingredients and beat until fluffy. Chill. Serve with celery, carrots, cauliflower florets, or crackers.


CREAM CHEESE PECAN DIP
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1-2 tablespoons bottled steak sauce
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
Few drops Tabasco sauce

Combine ingredients and form into ball. Wrap and chill until firm. Remove from refrigerator about 15 minutes before serving, and sprinkle with snipped parsley. Serve with crackers.   Makes 1-1/2 cups.


COTTAGE CHEESE DIP
1 carton (12 oz) cottage cheese
1-1/2 teaspoons minced onion
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon chopped pimiento or parsley

Combine first three ingredients and beat well. Chill. Remove from refrigerator and stir in pimiento or parsley. Serve with celery, carrot strips, and crackers.


CREAMY ONION DIP
1-1/2 cups sour cream
2 tablespoons packaged onion soup mix
2 oz blue cheese, crumbled
1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Combine ingredients and chill. Makes about 2 cups.
