I was born at Ward Memorial Hospital, Monahans, Texas on December7, 1942. December 7th is remembered as Pearl Harbor Day to Woodrow Wilson and Ruby Rose Robertson Redmon. I lived all of my childhood in Monahans, attending primary and secondary schools there. I graduated from Monahans High School in May of 1961

I entered the U. S. Air Force in March of 1962, undergoing basic training at San Antonio, Texas. From there I went to Technical Training at Fr. Belvoir, Virginia to be a construction draftsman. My first permanent station was at Reese AFB, Lubbock, Texas. While stationed at Reese AFB I met Kitti C. Oats Kelso and subsequently married her on February 22, 1965. Kitti had a son Jody Todd and a daughter Abby Gail whom I adopted during November 1965.

I was transferred to Camp H M. Smith, Oahu, Hawaii in August of 1965. Our son Jeffry Allen was born at Tripler Army Hospital, Oahu, Hawaii on January 17, 1967. I remained at Camp H. M. Smith until August of 1968 at which time I was transferred to Topsham Air Force Station Brunswick, Maine. I remained in Maine for one year and was discharged from the Air Force and returned to Texas to make my home.

I went to Lake Texoma to enter into a partnership with Kitti's Mother and Step-father running Little Mineral Marina, The arrangement did not work out and I moved my family to Odessa, Texas during February of 1970 and became employed by Ref Chem Contractors as a draftsman. Later I was hired by El Paso Products Company as a draftsman.

In September 1970, 1 began working for the Texas Department of Public Safety as a recruit, Highway Patrol. I graduated from recruit training in January, 1971 and was stationed in Odessa, Texas. In January 1975 Kitti and I were divorced and I moved to Arlington, Texas with the department in July 1975.

In the meantime I had met and married my second wife, Brenda Joyce Wilkerson Hall. Brenda had a set of twin girls, Wendy and Cendy who were born October 27, 1968 in California. My marriage to Brenda lasted until December 1979 when we were divorced. We had moved to Big Springs, Texas with the department on February 28, 1978.

I met my present wife, Claudia Marie Nichols Shaw and we were married March 20, 1981 in Big Springs, Texas. Claudia has two children, Reginald Scott and Margie Marie who live in Big Spring. As of this date we have 5 grandchildren between us.
